This page explains what personal information this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.

If you create a reader account to comment or vote on reviews, I store your name, email address, and a securely hashed version of your password — never the password itself. If you subscribe to the newsletter, I store your email address. If you submit a book review request, I store the name, email, and book details you provide.

This site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in — nothing more. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics running on this site.

Your information is used only to operate the features you've used it for — showing your name on your comments, sending the newsletter you signed up for, following up on a review request. It is never sold, and never shared with anyone for marketing purposes.

The site's data is hosted with infrastructure providers (a database host and Cloudflare for image storage) acting only as processors, not as parties who can use your data for their own purposes.

You can ask what data I have about you, or ask me to delete it, at any time using the contact email on the Work With Me page.
